A native Californian, I graduated from Stanford and got my first taste of my writing career when working at the Stanford Daily.
Loving ‘all things international’ I got an M.A. In International Studies from Johns Hopkins University (Bologna, Italy and Washington D.C.)
I kicked off my career at Ogilvy & Mather but eventually switched to BBDO Worldwide where I was lured by the prospect of working abroad.
I was sent to Paris to act as the VP Communications Director for BBDO Europe (25+ countries, $3 billion worth of business).
I eventually left the agency world (but never France!) to start my own boutique communications and copywriting company with Nike as my first client. Over the years, I’ve worked with dozens of other global giants (Lego, Salomon, Wrangler) as well as countless small businesses.
I published one of the first books on social media in 2009 (Mastering Web 2.0 /Kogan Page, London) and gradually narrowed down my services to Done for You copywriting with a focus on email marketing.
